Norman is best described as a theme parks and amusements entrepreneur and an expert in delivering family-friendly fun.

With a family history in amusements that stretches back over 150 years, the attractions business is in his DNA. He has a passion for UK seaside resorts, owning and developing his own park Southport’s New Pleasureland. At one stage he looked after marketing for Blackpool Tower and further afield has worked on park projects in Canada, Abu Dhabi, Kazakhstan and Egypt.

Following on from this, Norman has consulted all over the world, coming up with creative and ambitious park plans teamed with cutting edge technology for rides and wow-factor infrastructure.

Closer to home he is deeply committed to ringing the changes for UK tourism. In his words, "The British are too quick to dismiss this country’s tourist gems and it’s time that we started value once more and to promoting what the UK has to offer, because there is a real appetite for it."

To back this up, this year he has pledged to campaign for Brits to fall in love again with Britain at its best.
